Easter & Summer Tesco Food Appeal
"Community food collections at Tesco Headford helping Solas and SVP support families in our community at Easter and through the summer."
Each year Solas Family Resource Centre runs food appeals with Tesco to support families in Headford and the surrounding area. Donations of non-perishable food help us — alongside the Society of St Vincent de Paul — when households need it most.
Our summer food collection ran at Tesco Headford from Thursday 25th to Saturday 27th June, 10.30am – 5.30pm. Suggested donations included everyday essentials such as tea and coffee, rice and pasta, cereals, canned fruit and veg, toiletries, and more.
We were totally overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank you to everyone who donated — and to Tesco and SVP for supporting these appeals.
If you need support, you are welcome to bring a bag and fill it with what you need. Your kindness makes a real difference to families across our community.
