Hello Headford

"A community mental health afternoon in Tesco Carpark, Headford — music, conversation, and a warm welcome for all."

Hello Headford

Hello Headford — How Are You?

On Friday 15th May, Solas Family Resource Centre joined Mental Health Ireland and the local community for Hello Headford — a free outdoor afternoon in Tesco Carpark focused on connection, kindness, and looking after our minds.

The day invited people to say hello, ask how someone is, and take time to listen. With live music, a guest speaker, and plenty of space to chat, it was a warm, colourful welcome for everyone in Headford and the surrounding area.

Programme

  • 12 Noon — PCH Orchestra & Choir
  • 12:30 PM — Guest Speaker Levi Tierney
  • 1 PM — Matt Cunningham Band
  • 1:30 PM — Don Stiffe
  • 2 PM — Paddy the Punk

Venue: Tesco Carpark, Headford

Be Kind to Your Mind

Hello Headford highlighted simple ways we can support one another: say hello and ask how someone is, engage with the person, listen actively, learn, and give time to talk. Mental health is important — and a welcome is for all.

Thank you to everyone who came along, to our performers and speakers, and to Mental Health Ireland for partnering with us on the day.
