💙 Men’s Health Day Headford 2026 – A Wonderful Community Success
On Wednesday, 17 June 2026, St. Fursa’s Hall in Headford was filled with conversation, support, information and positive action as 103 men of all ages attended our Men’s Health Day.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to every man who came along, took time out of their day, had a health check, gathered information, asked questions and took a positive step towards looking after their health and wellbeing.
103 men attended. 103 positive steps towards better health. 💙
A Community Effort
A special thank you also goes to the wives, partners, families, friends and community members who encouraged and supported the men in their lives to attend. Sometimes that little bit of encouragement can make all the difference when it comes to taking the first step towards looking after your health.
Events like Men’s Health Day are only possible because of the dedication, generosity and commitment of the organisations and services that give their time, expertise and support to our community.

Thank You to Our Volunteers
A very special word of thanks goes to all of the volunteers from SOLAS Family Resource Centre Headford. From planning and organising to welcoming people on the day and all the work behind the scenes, your time and hard work helped make the event possible.
Men’s Health Matters
The fantastic turnout demonstrates the growing recognition that men’s health matters and that taking small, preventative steps today can make a significant difference in the future.
Men’s Health Day was about more than health checks and information. It was about creating a space where men could come together, ask questions, find out about local supports and have conversations about their health in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We hope everyone who attended left with something useful — whether that was new information, a health check, a conversation, a connection to a local service or simply a reminder that looking after your health is important at every age.
Thank you once again to every man who attended, every person who encouraged someone to come along, every organisation that supported the day and every volunteer who helped make it happen.
Together, we are helping to build a healthier, stronger and more connected Headford community.
💙 103 men attended.
💙 103 positive steps taken towards better health.
