Women’s Self-Defence Class Coming to Headford

Build confidence, learn practical skills and have fun while improving your physical wellbeing.

Solas Family Resource Centre is delighted to invite women in the local community to a free Women’s Self-Defence Class in Headford this September.

Whether you have never tried self-defence before or simply want to learn some new skills, this class is designed to be welcoming and accessible to women of all fitness levels.

Learn, Move & Build Confidence

Self-defence is about much more than physical techniques. The class will provide an opportunity to learn practical skills, become more aware of your surroundings and build confidence in your ability to respond to different situations.

With a certified instructor leading the session, participants will learn in a supportive environment where everyone can take part at their own pace.

And importantly – it doesn’t have to feel like hard work! Come along, meet other women from the community, have some fun and enjoy being active.

Everyone Welcome

The class is designed for women of all fitness levels. You don’t need to be particularly fit or have any previous self-defence experience. Just come along, wear comfortable clothing and be ready to learn something new.
